目指していること
QORDAは、日本の寝具を再解釈するために設立されました。昭和時代まで布団が主流だった日本では、ベッドフレームの歴史が浅く、平成以降に西洋文化の影響を受けて普及してきました。
しかし、ベッドフレームが普及した後も、配送や生産コストの制約が影響し、デザインの選択肢は限られたままです。
私たちは、この状況を変え、ベッドフレームを通じて寝室の新たな可能性を広げることを目指しています。
QORDA was established to reinterpret Japan’s bed frame culture. In Japan, where futons were the mainstream until the Showa era, the history of bed frames is relatively short, and they began to spread after the 1980s, influenced by Western culture. However, even after the introduction of bed frames, limitations in shipping and production costs have kept design options restricted. We aim to change this situation and expand the possibilities of the bedroom through innovative bed frame designs.

QORDAのベッドフレームは、広島県で製造されています。広島の府中家具は、日本を代表する家具産地として名高く、伝統と技術が今も息づいています。
さらに、国内には数社しか存在しないベッドフレーム専門のメーカーで製造され、熟練の職人が一つひとつ丁寧に手作業で仕上げています。デザインと品質にこだわり、長く愛用できる製品を生み出しています。
QORDA bed frames are manufactured in Hiroshima Prefecture. Fuchu furniture in Hiroshima is renowned as one of Japan’s leading furniture production areas, where tradition and craftsmanship continue to thrive. Additionally, bed frame manufacturers that specialize in this field are extremely rare in Japan, with only a few still in operation. Each frame is meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans, who ensure both design and quality are prioritized to create products that are made to last and be cherished for years to come.
